405 moved really well, Wilson! That 3rd bench fail rep seemed to be a loss of concentration, but the 2nd set more than made up for the 1st! I'm glad to see the weighted pullups again! 💯🫡👍

Tha k you Kurt ! On the bench I was too relaxed on that first set . It was either pull-ups or rows . Since I did rows last time I went with the pull-ups

It’s not that bad lol . It looks bigger than it is because on squats you fill your stomach with air . I do need to lose a little weight tho .

Wilson, do you always train at such max percentages? You seem to train to absolute failure regularly. I always struggled with it myself. I always wanted to beat a previous session but i believe i hurt myself ultimately. May work for you though.

It really depends on the excercise, I rarely train the deadlift or squat to failure but the bench I respond better to going to failure often . I use a close grip on all pressing so my shoulders aren’t really in jeopardy. I typically shift gears according to how things are feeling . If I’m beat up and things are painful I’ll use lighter weight and do more volume. If I’m feeling strong I’ll do less volume and higher intensity sets .

@@DXT61 sounds like you are doing great as well 👍🏻. I just turned 43 so I’m starting to feel it myself. I can’t do what i did In my 30s. Im sure when I get 50 I’ll say I can’t do what I did in my 40s lol . Happy early birthday 🎂
