Pastel de Camiguín, or simply pastel, is a Filipino soft bun with yema filling originating from the province of Camiguin. The name is derived from Spanish pastel. Pastel is an heirloom recipe originally conceived by members of the Agrepina Dagondon Gultiano family of Camiguin.

Ingredients:
Custard/Yema Filling:
5 Egg Yolks
1 can or 220 ml Condensed Milk
1 tbsp Vanilla
1 tbsp Cornstarch diluted in 1 tbsp water
1/3 cup Butter
pinch of salt
cook in low heat
Buns:
2 tsp yeast bloom in 1/4cup luke warm water and
1/4 tbsp sugar
3 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup milk powder any brand
1/4 cup Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 Medium Size Egg
1 tbsp Vanilla
3/4 cup Evaporated Milk or Fresh Milk
1/3 cup Butter
