I remember collecting and coconut water cans had a deposit on them, then a few months later i noticed they weren't stamped, woops I wonder how many i sent off. You can get away with some in pre counted bags, all depends who you sell to. Might have to do with the juice content? Yep prices are down everywhere mainly due to the tariffs on exporting scrap but where I live is pretty rural still so I dont have a preference on where the scrap is..... generally rule of thumb is the more rural the area, the bigger and heavier the scrap but its spread out..... and in the city you get alot of items in a smaller area but takes alot of items to make up enough weight such as microwaves, small garage shelves etc. Compair the items I get vs scrap and pallet man and that is what I'm trying to say about in the sticks vs city. Jimmy I've been watching your videos for awhile now I find them very interesting and informative. I wonder why you haven't bought a semi truck and trailer this coming from a retired steel hauler/scrap steel hauler from big steel company in Chicago.Love the videos once again Badger reminds me of some of my old trucker friends.

👋 hey there! Honestly scrap isnt my main income anymore, kind of do it just for the extra money and the fun of it. I would love to have a small scrap yard eventually, maybe in my 40's I will sell my business's and start one up. Thank you for watching and commenting

At least a roll off truck for the business. Customer base is there for one.

I made so much quick easy money when the price was way up a lot of us did but The quick easy stuff went fast and now it’s almost impossible to find anything it was fun while it lasted though I lived good

robert power I worked a construction job and between that and a friend and I got the opportunity to scrap a whole farm out and a few other what I consider “big scrap jobs” and I would make my weekly pay check and scrap metal on the weekends this was when Tin was 160 and shortsteel 220 and where I live and we made 300 to 400 a day just me and him and a f250 truck I was younger in my 20s I’m a simple man so that was a good deal to me

robert power what you said before is the flip side though there’s times when either the prices are low or what I ran into was rival scrappers and like I said all the “easy pickings” were gone in a hurry that’s why I always wait and hold my scrap until the prices go back up and know your limitation you can depend on such “ businesses”
