Patisapta | Winter special Recipe | Patisapta with coconut stuffing | Bengali pitha
Pathisapta is a traditional Bengali dessert, renowned for its delectable taste and cultural significance. This sweet delicacy is made from thin crepes filled with a mixture of khoya, coconut, jaggery, and khoya. The crepes are folded into rolls, creating a delightful package of flavors. Pathisapta is often garnished with kheer (reduced milk) and sometimes drizzled with date palm jaggery syrup for an extra touch of sweetness. Prepared during the auspicious festival of Makar Sankranti, this dessert reflects the rich culinary heritage of Bengal. Savoring pathisapta is not just a culinary experience but a journey into the cultural tapestry of the region
