That's because it shouldn't have been 'greggshells'. Csquared Lol, oh boo to you. They talked behind his back, along with the rest of the behind the scenes crew. That's because gregshells happens when they were confronting or arguing with him on air you dolt. Gregshells was the fuckin reason why they talked behind his back. That's why every single person from the show were all friendly with one another and worked together on air after the show. All except opie. He was delusional, and was impossible to talk things out with him. He was lying to himself about his issues, and then began to resent the chemistry between Norton and Cumia, and then began to mentally check out, while simultaneously blaming everyone else and taking a conspiratorial mind set. Like all the comics and behind the scene crew, all got together and decided to all just dislike Opie for what reason exactly? There has to be something as to why a ton of people connected to the show, all interact with one another. Oh yeah, Gregshells. Btw they are all still friendly because they can fuckin talk to one another, if need be, because they might get mad at each other. But they can talk it out without any delusion and denial. I don't hate Opie, but it's clear, to anyone listening for awhile, can come to the conclusion that Opie was terribly unfunny and came off douchey more often then not. Apparently it was just a character, but have you seen proof otherwise?
@guitarsANDcars39

@@csquared4538 They talked behind his back because THEY KNEW GREGGSHELLS COULDN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH. They would try tell him the truth and Opie would ALWAYS try to DEFLECT the truth back onto them and blame them, EVEN IF IT'S GREGGSHELLS FAULT.

Opie making fun of vos for being insecure and having low self esteem........... and then 20secs later crying about twitchels leaving and upset with him switching shows and leaving him

He loved to project onto others. He was terrible in this episode. Accusing Patrice of making the same point over and over again. Atleast he made points, and had something interesting to say. Atleast he said what he felt and was honest about his opinions. Opie had almost no opinions and had no insight on any topic. Patrice called him out for obsessing over the feedback from fans on pal talk.

Opie did have a small point there. If Patrice had an Achilles Heel it was his occasional long winded delivery

That would be annoying except the point is to be funny and Patrice is being funny.

Patrice was still sharpening his sword in all these episodes. he had a lot figured out already but he was most assuredly still a student, while he seemed to already be a master to us all.

I really love Patrice, but whenever he talks about swinging, threesomes, and then a girlfriend for him and Von, I always get upset because I know where it actually came from, and that everything he said was just mental gymnastics to explain it. Patrice went from one kink/fetish to another over a 10 year period before his death. He always had a mental reasoning behind it, but the reality was that he had physical problems. He always mentioned how his diabetes was making him somewhat impotent, and that was generally the cause of all of his kinks. Once he became used to something, it stopped appealing to him, and he stopped getting hard. He had to always move on to a new kink just to keep it up. He was always trying to avoid being Pat from Moonachie whose dick didn't work at all. I know what that feels like, and it's shit. It's a fucking bitch, and it was part of reality that Patrice just couldn't accept. Louis pointed it out on the Patrice memorial show, if he had just tried to lose weight, he wouldn't have gone through any of that shit.

True, I think quite a few men have gone through that. I like Patrice too, but your critical analysis of him was so honest; that’s also a reason why porn can ruin your psyche, have your mental all damaged, having to go to extremes just to get it up for your woman, or a woman in general. He had a lot of good quotes and ideas, but he was still imperfect, like every man and woman is.

degeneracy and porn addiction definitly controlled his thoughts around sex. Jimmy Norton was the same type of degenerate as well. We all have our vices though.
