I love the fact that the Beatles and Stones truly love each other. Paul was Ronnie Woods’ witness-at his wedding a couple of years ago .So good to hear Ronnie’s fine guitar playing and Ringo’s subtle and super drumming.

For any drummers out there, notice that Ringo plays his rhythms as a regular right-handed player but his fills come down as a left-handed player. The accent on the snare is his left rather than his right. I suffer from the same issue. Doing my fills as say Phil Collins would (as a left-handed drummer), but playing all of my beats as a righty.
@DanThomasUK
5 жыл бұрын
Yup. He leads with the left hand even though playing the toms left to right - and holds his sticks straight, as opposed to crossing them like Abe is here :-)

@@DanThomasUK: Years ago I played in a Rush tribute and it was so difficult having to do certain parts like the trade off between bell and hat in songs like "Natural Science" and "Subdivisions" (maybe "Camera Eye". I can't remember if we played it out or just rehearsed it.) where I had to start with my right hand and play opposite to what's natural to me which is to start left-handed. Especially "science" where it's so fast!
