Thank you SOOO much for this breakdown!! The financial part was definitely a major hindrance in me wanting to start down the pharmacy path. I always ask pharmacist how they did it, but it seems like they have magical support or they go around the question. Lol, which is super frustrating for someone who wants to do it. So, thank you so much!!! Please keep consistent pharmacy videos coming!!

I'm new to your channel but I am GLAD you did a video on this. I'm starting my pre requisites for pharmacy school in June and right now everything is paid for. But the school that I want to attend to get my degree in Pharmacy recommends that their students don't work. It's an accelerated program. It's about 3 years long. So in all it would take me about 5 years to complete my degree . I started to worry about Grad school as a single mom of one. I just couldn't imagine not working but you mentioned somethings in the video that I never heard of and will try. I still love with my parents which helps a lot. I know they have to have some scholarships or loans out there somewhere for single parents and minoriities. Thanks for the info

Thank you soooo much for the information!!🙌🏾 me and my mom were just having a conversation about finances with me starting pharmacy school this fall of 2018 and we were kind of at a stand still. I was literally just researching different options and came across your video. It was soooo reassuring I could literally cry. This is an exciting/scary time for me being the first person in my family to pursue a doctoral degree. Soo as you can imagine everything is new to us sooo thanks again for sharing!! Can you share a video on maybe how you and your boyfriend manage your relationship as far as quality time and making sure you guys are still good?

I know people who graduated in pharmacy with loans and they drive old cars and don't own homes like years later. It is not a get rich quick school. Most students owe at least 6 figures.

I'm glad I found your video. I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry. My ultimate goal has always been to go to pharmacy school. Every time I bring up the topic my mom says how are you gonna pay for that, or who is gonna pay for that. Looking at your video eased my mind about the financial aspect of school. Now I just have to get in.

Thanks for the video. It was really helpful. My boyfriend and I are living check to check to pay for our apartment, expenses, and we just got out of our first year for pre-pharmacy. It was really tight, and our lease ends in two months, and I'm not sure what we're going to do yet. Anyways, the food stamps things and that one loan were interesting, I'll be looking into those. Please, more pharmacy videos! :)

Wow, your school is very cheap. I'm stressing about taking out additional loans, because tuition is already $34k a year....I was just planning on staying home and communting 30-40 minutes every day. Woah! I'm stressed about finances still lol

Hey! I came across your channel cause I have absolutely no idea how loans work. I got into a PharmD program where it takes about 6 years for me to receive my degree. I'm going into year 2, The first two years are pre professional phase so it's like getting all my prereqs done. But, I was curious if I'm an undergrad student, will I still be able to take out loans for living expenses as well. Thanks!
