Shoutout to Winston... Such wisdom and truly a well balanced man... Loved his views ... Coloured people in this country are so overlooked but they have just as much potential & I got the culture shock that they actually run the beautiful Northern Cape and you never get to see or even hear about it, they are running our only state owned mine and we don't know anything about it. Its all love though we just love being United only when it suits us & it's the simplest of things that can create a division between us

I thoroughly enjoy this podcast but something has just dawned on me. The calibre of men available to teach far outweighs that of women (outside of course of the amazing likes of Mandisa Mashego and Miranda Ntshangase) 😢. I for one would really appreciate hearing more from women that have succeeded because of pure and humble intelligence and grit and NOT what they look like (the pretty privilege thing is annoying… a lot of men and women are a lot more than that 😒). While black South African men generally get a bad wrap… (which is not entirely misplaced) one thing that this podcast highlights is that there are men willing to lead by example and show a side of themselves the media doesn’t expose enough… even if this is an unintentional consequence of these conversations. We women seriously need to do better. We can’t just be known for makeup, celeb gossip, spirituality, baecations, Instagram, KZitem vlogs, and girlfriend allowance 🙄.

Penuel: You are the real deal. Shake that imposter syndrome and, if necessary, enlist a therapist. Most successful people have that feeling at some point in their life but experience teaches them to put that behind them. Recently, Coco Gauff made a similar comment in an interview and prior to that Naomi Osaka went public with her insecurities. Just by scrolling through the comments you should gain some perspective on how positive your audience feels about your contribution to SA's society. Keep on keeping on!

That that you don't manage, you lose hit the spot across the board as he said, and the family department was the one that stood out. Our moral values within our society is eroding because men are being silenced, they are scared to lead,to manage, take their God given managerial positions within their homes and that's where the degradation of society starts, not in public, but in our homes.Mzwakhe Mbuli said, destruction of the mind, affects the family, destruction of a family, affects the community, destruction of community becomes that of the nation.

Great guest, but there are 2 issue's Penuel keeps persisting with, first, constantly making Afrikaner male's poster boys, he knows our painful past we come from, yet he persists, you know, i don't remember Penuel complimenting black South African men/women , for the strides they have made, from this terrible past they come from, just half, as much as he compliments white Afrikaner male's. Secondly, he goes on to point out foreign nationals(Black African Males) are somehow better or more competitive than Black South African men, that crap couldn't be further from the truth, i don't know any South African man, who isn't a fugitive, that would want to leave RSA for any African Country, worse, swim in crocodile infested water, so we have a much better country, also, as a millennial, i don't know any black guy(South African) that is out competed by a foreign national, in any market, and in any field, relatively, we can go through any line item/industry and/or field, case by case comparatively, and you will find, it's simply not true.We are highly educated as our literacy rate clearly points out, we have the largest per capita in the continent. I always say, Winston here, is not one of a kind, there are many, its just that, people like Penuel here, get their narratives from mainstream media and social media, which is a total loss of true perspective. I hope Penuel can drive around and see for himself, first of all the, businesses black South African men are building for other's and themselves, everyday, for everyone to enjoy, including foreign nationals. We as black South African men, allow these foreign nationals that you love and praise more than us, into our communities, allow them to trade in our geographical area's and markets so that they can send money home, yet that means nothing to you. We have our challenges as a society (black South African men) who doesn't,we aren't nasty people/cowards or even bottom of the black African men food chain, you just lack perspective, travel around, ask questions, research data as you are an Accounting graduate, you have not presented a spec of evidence to support your assertion, i have no idea, what is informing your statement.
