Korokke (Japanese Potato Croquette)
Hello everyone.

I made Japanese popular food “Korokke”.
When I bought a lot of potato, I often make it
because home made korokke is very delicious !
You can feel Japanese mom’s flavor .
Let’s cook together !!
Ingredients
・800g potato
・1 onion
・200g ground beef
・30cc soy sauce
・30g sugar
Batter
・50g flour
・50cc water
・1 egg
・Appropriate panic (breadcrumbs)
・Appropriate oil
Recipe
・Cut the potato into the same size.
Put the potato in the pot with water.
Add salt, and boil until potato becomes soft.
Once potato is soft, drain water.
Mush the potato.
・Chop the onion.
Oil into heated the pan, then stir fry the onion.
・Add the ground beef, and stir fry them until brown.
・Add sugar and soy sauce, then stir fry thoroughly.
・Mushed potato and stir fried beef, mix well.
・Put them in the tray, and spread.
Put it in the fridge, and cool down.
・Once it’s cool enough, separate and Shape it.
・Make the batter.
The flour, water and egg, mix well.
・Coat with batter, then cover with the panko (breadcrumbs).
・Deep-fry in oil at 180°c (356 °F) about 5~6 minutes,
or until korroke become golden.
・Serve on a plate.
