Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Today I have prepared a watermelon peel jam recipe for you. This time, I prepared a watermelon peel jam, which has a consistency like Turkish delight, by making some differences compared to the other recipe this time, without keeping it in carbonated water and its color is red. Watermelon peel, which has a transparent color like jelly I recommend you try the jam. I'm sure you will like it. I used a medium-sized watermelon. First of all, we slice the watermelon rind and remove the inner part of the watermelon. We cut the rind into cubes and cut the inner pink parts and outer green rind. We take the peeled and washed watermelon rinds into a suitable bowl, add drinking water to them and keep them in the fridge overnight. We test its softness with the help of a sieve and it softens very well. With the help of a strainer, we take the boiled shells into a colander and purify them from the water. I add 2 glasses of water remaining from the boiling water and 2 glasses of boiling water to the pot. I added 4 glasses of water in total and 3 glasses of water. I add 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar. I add 1 teaspoon of lemon salt and 1 matchbox of barberry sugar, also known as puerperal sugar. Since this ratio is low, I added a total of 100 g of puerperal sugar until the color reaches the consistency I want. I mix it until the sugar dissolves. watermelon peels inside At the end of 15 minutes, we turn off the bottom of our sherbet and let it cool completely. We turn the bottom of our cooled jam back on and boil it for 30 minutes on low heat. At this stage, we add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. At the end of 30 minutes, our watermelon rind jam has thickened and left to rest. The watermelon peel jam has a consistency like Turkish delight.
