WOW, I'm working on my first project and after 12 attempts of getting a workable mesh I'm close. I saw a ok model that needs a lot of work. With your lesson I'm going to see if I have finally succeeded. 👍plus want to see more of your videos. Excellent lesson! Thanks for taking the time to make it!

Thanks for the awesome tutorial! I was just planning to start using photogrammetry to add background objects and details to my scenes, so this is great timing! I’m slightly worried that in the time it’ll take my laptop to reconstruct a mesh I would already be able to make one by hand but it’s worth a shot.

Do you know if it is possible to use Mushroom on a bunch of digital pictures... pictures without shadows or backgrounds? I have 60 images of a 3d rendering from every angle and I would like to convert it back into a 3d rendering. Thanks

Great turorial! Can the color of the texture be changed in Blender? And what do you need to do to have the Mirecat as a new 3D Object with the new texture colored, Bake it in Blender?

Hi, thanks for this video, it helps a lot! I have a problem, after re-importing my optimized mesh from meshroom to blender everything looks fine but every square in the mesh is re-crossed by some new triangle, every square is crossed by vertices. am i doing something wrong is it normal?
@MicroSingularity
2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like Meshroom or Blender has re-triangulated the quad faces when it has been reimported. It’s fine, nothing wrong with triangular faces, in-fact, for use in games and other applications it’s probably better to have triangular faces.
@RickYorgason

When exporting your obj before texturing, be sure to turn on triangulate, and turn off export normals.
