Earned a new Subscriber today. I absolutely love you're scientific and serious approach to cannabis growth. I need a teacher to learn from, not some fat dude who grows weed in his mother's back yard telling me how to "optimize my grow". 😉

When mentioned that 30°C and 1500ppfd may be best for cannabis sativa plant growth. At what CO2 PPM levels was this achieved at?
@DeBaccoUniversity
2 жыл бұрын
DLI is another consideration, but CO2 levels of 1200ppm are the typical ideal target level.

@@DeBaccoUniversity 1200ppm at 1500ppfd? Man I stressed mine at that. Maybe its that strain they used or like you mentioned it doesn't say what the DLI was. We have no idea how long they were under 1500ppfd. Didn't even consider that. I just assumed 12 hours. Thank you

So how many hours per day should cannabis be exposed to direct sunlight ?
@DeBaccoUniversity

All of it, the longer the better as long as your plant is timed to follow the natural progression of the season.

DEBACCO - WHAT TEMPERATURE DOES PHOTOSYNTHESIS STOP ???????
@DeBaccoUniversity
3 жыл бұрын
The answer to this question can change with the type of plant (Ex. C3 or C4 or CAM). This link should help with your question... www.researchgate.net/profile/Kouki-Hikosaka/publication/242017135/figure/fig2/AS:601606911447090@1520445673993/Typical-temperature-responses-of-photosynthesis-in-C-3-C-4-and-CAM-plants.png

@@DeBaccoUniversity THANK YOU DR DEBACCO!! i should have specified i was talking about cannabis. Does the temperature apply to both room temperature and leaf surface temp??? Or only one or the other?
@DeBaccoUniversity
3 жыл бұрын
Cannabis is a C3 plant and room and leaf temperature are typically very closely related, but since the Ribisco enzyme is in the leaf (main restriction on Photosynthesis) typically it is the leaf temperature that is the more important one (vs air) to look at.

@@DeBaccoUniversity thank you. Am using HPS so im trying to figure out the right balance of room temp and leaf temp because that HPS puts out sooo much heat directly underneath it. thanks again love your channel man

You might find actually growing a plant or two instead of parroting the efforts of others more helpful to your dwindling subscribers. There is an analog with actual experiences that can not be digitized or plagiarized. Do yourself a favor and get your fingernails dirty in the very soil you are purporting to have knowledge of! Avoid greed, and embrace integrity. For this is wise🙏🔑✌️
