Some typos and corrections 1) At 5:49, I misspelled Claudio Bunster's first name. The first name should be Claudio. 2) At 28:17, I forgot to put in Mirjam Cvetic's picture, although she is an author of this paper as well. 3) At 31:13, the last name should be Silverstein. Let me know if you find any more of these. I will add them here. Thanks.

Your videos are enriched with information and inspiration for the younglings like me. I am 17 years old and I am aiming at becoming a theoretical physicist. Previously I had the idea that only the extraordinary super-genius people become theoretical physicists but after I came across your videos I received the confidence that even I have the ability to do the same. Currently, I am self studying calculus from Thomas and Finney's Calculus with Analytic Geometry along with introductory physics. Keep growing, Phymaths!

18:01 Dr. Quevedo says that Maldacena-Nunez was known by Garry Gibbons and de Witt. Is this an anecdote/some reminiscence or is this mentioned (atleast implicitly) in any of their previous papers?

Yes, it is mentioned. Maldacena-Nunez was a more refined version of something that was known since the 80s. Gibbons has a paper named "Aspects of supergravity theories" in a proceedings. The name of the Proceedings is as follows "Supersymmetry, Supergravity and Related Topics: Proceedings of the Xvth Gift International Seminar on Theoretical Physics, 4-9 June 1984". You can also see a paper that Gibbons wrote in 2003, after the Madacena-Nunez paper (in 2001) where he mentions that this theorem was known in a vague way since the 80s. Please see section 6 of the following paper. arxiv.org/pdf/hep-th/0301117 I hope this answers your question.
