Isaribi Kōchū is a phenomenon where the lights from fishing boats appear as light pillars under specific weather conditions. These light pillars, or "light pillars," occur when light is reflected and refracted by ice crystals in the atmosphere, creating columns of light that seem to stretch upwards. This phenomenon is most commonly observed on cold nights when the bright lights from fishing boats reflect off the water surface and extend straight into the sky.
