Behind the scenes.
- Camera. I used the iPhone 12 Pro Max with the Blackmagic Camera app. Settings: H.265, 24fps, 4k. Shutter angle - 180. ISO 34 (the very minimum). Color Space: Rec.2020 - the only color space in the app which can give a 10-bit image from my phone.
- Color management settings inside the DaVinci Resolve: Input color space - Rec.2020 HLG; Timeline color space - DWG; Output color space - Rec.709 Gamma 2.2 (Tags on the Delivery page: Color space - Rec.709, Gamma - Rec.709-A. To prevent the gamma shift issue).
- Light. Daylight from the window boosted with every light source available for shooting in my house. 2 very cheap long LED lights which are made for a basement or other non-living rooms, 1 circular light and 1 pocket light for video. Surprisingly, all these gave a good opportunity to expose the image to the right without breaking the image and using minimal ISO.
- Sound. My voice recorded on the USB microphone M-Audio Uber Mic. My breathing in the background recorded on this mic too. I was actively breathing for over 6 minutes and it really dried out my throat, nose, lips, everything. The buzz in the background is a modified sound from inside my fridge, recorded on an iphone.
P.S. Every step of the post-production made in DaVinci, even the thumbnail. And the image aspect ratio is not random, is Ultra Panavision - 2.76, which gives a resolution for 4K - 3840x1390 by my calculations.
