I love this, perfect ending to a great album. It's basically saying how people did want to help Pink all along despite himself shutting everyone out, and they kept trying no matter what, and now that he has torn down the wall he can see that he really is loved. Oh so true in life.

I went to this show and it was the best concert I have ever seen from when the plane crashed into the wall and the wall being rebuilt and to the end when the wall comes down and they play outside the wall. I have never seen a better show.

I didn't know this song existed till last weekend. I saw a Pink Floyd cover band and they ended the show with this song. It was so fucking beautiful I almost broke down crying right there on the spot.

Great Old Clip from the Original " Wall " Concerts. I saw a few of them in Earls Court and the Westfallenhalle in Germany, and they were WAY ahead of anything else at the time. Totally stunning Sound and Visual Experiences. Brings back some lovely memories...Thank You.....

Yep, he played acoustic for some reason. I forget why but he played acoustic before in later versions he plays symbols. Like Roger, he played calronet back then now he plays trumpet.

yes you're right. us&them was amazing but the wall tour was something else! He did a follow up tour the year later and this time it was built for stadiums. me & my mates went again it wasn't as good as it was too big. But the arena tours were something else!

One of the few songs - maybe the only one on the album I don't really like--but this is marvelous. Loved how Roger leads them like the Pied Piper...And you have to love the way Waters is dressed in a BMW T-shirt, like he just came from mowing his lawn...I noticed when I saw him in 2006 the concert attire had significantly been upgraded..

@@Adrian_Franco that’s perhaps the depressing aspect of it. The band finds their sound with Echoes a decade prior, releases Dark Side and goes mainstream, pressures themselves into two epic albums and is revered as the best in the game. Then they release the Wall. That was the straw that broke the camels back, the Wall was too huge for them to stay together and keep performing! That’s why I love Roger Waters and The Wall!

this has got to be the best concert ever. I can't wait to see Roger recreate it for 2010. I didn't think this would happen. I just wish Gilmour and Mason would get on board. Got the feeling that Mason might not oppose the idea. Gilmour's different altogether though.

this was the last couple of times that the true progressive/psychedelic/theatrical rock was played as a massively popular thing, now we just have old bands playing nostalgia, and new bands playing something else

@darkskidz Yeah, that's because the video is taken from a single night at Earl's Court in 1980. The audio is from the live album Is There Anybody Out There. The audio wasn't in great shape for the actual video, so that's why we have the audio here.

Thought it was nice that even though Rick Wright was fired from the band during the making of the album he was still part of the groups final bows even though he was just a salaried player during the Live Shows.

Funny that since the tour was so elaborate and expensive that it put the band in lots of debt, Rick was the only one of them who actually profited off of it because he was technically a ‘touring player’.
