Nicce one. I have 2 cd-players from pioneer with magazines. One PD-M701 with 1 magazine and a PD-DM802 with 2 magazines. this one is a beauty.

I bought one of these new. I threw it away years ago. It was in very good condition but I hadn’t used it in years. It would have been cool to show my kids.

Just found the same unit at Goodwill, missing one foot and half the plastic logo. Was 14.99 but the accepted 9.99 due to missing foot.

So if each of the 18 discs have made use of the full 80 minutes capacity, you'd have enough music for 24 hours straight. In the 90s, this player could certainly provide quite a bit of music at parties without risking hearing the same track twice. Just a pity these units usually aren't able to read burned CDs.

I was 16 they were in the SEARS CATALOG. I Don't remember how much. But I think it was over a thousand dollars. Now you can probably get them for less than a hundred dollars as most people are just now getting rid of their CDs, With the exception of old farts like me.
