The clock concept is a way better explanation over way given by Nasm. Incorporating 3 planes of motions is kick butt and gets that sweat going which means more calories burned 🔥👍

what movement is happening in sumo squat since you said it's transverse movement. I don't see any movement happening in that direction it's just knee flexion and extension in sumo squat. Flexion and extension comes in Sagittal plane. how come it's a transverse movement. could you please explain?

It is. there's also external rotation at the hip. It would be multiplaner; or some will just call it transverse, others may say just transverse
