I absolutely LUV the way you always inform us of the history in the area that you are visiting! Absolutely awesome! Thank you for that! And we don't have the 'Mission' brand of tortillas/wraps here in Winnipeg. There might be other areas of Canada that carry them, like the bigger cities, Vancouver, B.C. & Toronto, ON, but I don't know that for sure. I wish we did. I'd love to try those cauliflower ones. I'm chuckling out loud at your post-a-note on your baseball cap! Did someone else have to ask? Did someone else other than have to question what that was as well? I will always laugh at myself for questioning that! Cute! (your post-a-note) 😂🤣

I live in NM definitely has alot of history, with old time exploration of folk lore. I like it's not real new. The difference is many cultures. And it shows. The beliefs are that the land has many stories and one can't explain how to be grateful for the land.plus the history of when some people were slaves. The woman at the lake.

Love your channel Carolyn. I've followed you for several years. I was watching this episode and heard your comments about Glacier water. I too drink Glacier because our NM water is high in salt and alkali. However Glacier water is processed by Reverse Osmosis which means that it is devoid of mineral rather than rich in minerals. Just wanted to say that in the event that you were counting on getting minerals from your water. Keep up the great videos.

Please give Sadie the good stuff, she deserves it.

Sadie sure perked up when you said "Juno"! She's a smart one. I noticed all the alien stuff when we moved back east and passed through Roswell after living in Alamogordo for ten years. 20 years ago, while on vacation, we spent a day in Roswell. No alien stuff except the museum. I guess the city got smart about how to make money. Back in '02, I flipped the motel TV on and saw an alien face on the screen. Turned out it was just Robert Stack and "Unsolved Mysteries", and nothing connected to Roswell. What a strange coincidence that was. I kept looking for more signs of ET life, but nope. Roswell was blissfully unaware of it back then. Now, it's downright hilarious! Safe travels to you always, Carolyn.

NM reminds me of an Outer Limits show that had an alien theme, that said the Roswell people were chosen to go with their hosts in space because the had an answer to everything. So everyone went and the aliens left a book behind. The aliens kept saying to the towns people, we are here to serve humankind .” After some time the book was found to be a cookbook. 🤪. Good video Carolyn. Looks like Sadie had some fun 🤩 too.

Our state of New Mexico , yes quirky is a great description. Every part of the state is unique. Come to Taos, NM near the Colorado state line, and enjoy Taos' very stunning views and the Taos Gorge with a bridge you can walk across, just you , keep Sadie in the RV. If you missed it , stop in Taos next time your in our vicinity. Taos is small, but we have 2 fully stocked health food stores plus a food Co op , lots of BLM land, US Carson National Forest Service surrounds Taos for miles, and the BLM manages campsites along the Rio Grande River (busy during rafting season) both north and south of Taos. Taos also had the fist NM Territorial Governor, Charles Bent, who was killed in a local uprising, and much more history. Thanks for making New Mexico part of your RV journey on KZitem. We love our quirky state !!!

Cool! I have Celiac and have been GF since 11/2001. I'm always interested in new GF products and tortillas are one that I really miss. I used to live a plain bean & cheese burrito. Fried in a little oil, topped with sour cream & salsa is even better! Not healthy, but incredibly delicious. So, I will absolutely try the new Mission GF Califlower Tortillas. I hope they don't contain ALMONDS. I recently had anaphylaxis to those, which is a total bummer b/c so many GF foods use almond flower. Thanks for the INFO, Carolyn! 👍❤️🌼
