A few days ago, I transplanted a couple of trays of annuals that I grew from seed. One of my front yard borders is in transition right now. It was sheet mulched, but there are still enough pernicious weeds (such as bindweed - ugh!) that I need to get under control before I start adding a bunch of perennials to the bed, so this is a great opportunity to play around with annuals. Today, I'm planting a variety of different annual salvias, lemon bee balm, celosia, ageratum as well as a gorgeous Dusty Miller.
Happy gardening!
