Hey buddy to set your plow properly ,put the left side tires both front and back on 6” blocks to simulate your tractor in the furrow,, next make sure and adjust you plow so it is level straight up and down,, once that is done adjust the ground share which is that piece of angle sticking out the back , so the end of it is 1” off the ground,,, once you have that all done your all set to go...cause your plow is all kinds out of adjustment,, that is why your going to deep and the soil isn’t folding over,,, the soil should fold over and its just laying right back down in the furrow... hope this helps...

JohnnyRebKY - For whatever reason I'm not able to directly reply to your comment. However, it was a 14" plow used in the video. The 1025 had no problem pulling it once I got it set up correctly (pitch of plow, depth of cut). Talking to the neighbors it had been at least 30 years since the last time that area was plowed. Initially the plow was used because the soil here is very rocky and didn't want to risk damaging a tiller breaking the ground. I have since sold the plow, picked up a 4' tiller, and my kids have filled the 1025 bucket countless times removing said rocks.

It needs a coulter disc to cut the sod and stop bursting open the turf.

You look like you have a lot of green trees. Was this done last year? Everybody is doing a different kind of plowing this time of year, snow plowing. :)
