I hadn’t thought about Poco in years! A smooth, great band! You know, I think I took for granted back in the day all the amazing music of the 70’s and 80’s! There was so much incredible music! You’d turn on the radio and there was rock, pop, country, R&B, metal, new wave and so much more to enjoy!! Jamel, thanks for keeping these great tunes alive!!

I think the group's name is pronounced "poe-coe" (rhymes with "cocoa"). At least that's how the deejays in my neck of the woods have always pronounced it.

Glenn, Some of my buds and I would smoke weed and put on Crazy Eyes...infu*****credible! The banjo, orchestral mix and all the other instruments that intertwined with the voices harmonizing was an experience that transformed the listener to new heights. I just turned 75, lost the weed years ago and been sober from alcohol almost 20.Those days of great groups and great music are unparalleled in my opinion.

This song take's me back to a better time. i was in a band that played in the working men's club's in the South Wales valley's in the 1960s and 70s, and this song all ways went down well. Poco was unknown to most people , but it just go's to show what a great song this is.

I haven’t heard this song in years and I woke up this morning singing it to my self……and by golly I still know all the words. Poco was a great band and still are. There music went from album to 8 track to cassette they had so many really good songs my brother and I would fight over who got to play what album we were going to listen to. Nowadays I hear them being played in the grocery stores !!

I got to see them live in 1980 (I was 16!!) at the Universal Amphitheater when it actually WAS an outdoor theater. They opened up for another great band of that era, Little River Band. GREAT back-to-back bands‼ The songs and sounds of my youth‼🥰

Eagles Bassist and Singer Timothy B Schmitt was THEIR original player and singer....He left for the Eagles(who pursued him hard) after Rand Meisner left the Eagles......Poco was part of that Movement of the 70's in LA.....There is a great Documentary about the band.

One of my favorites ❤❤❤❤ I was born in 1976 and I still remember riding with my mom in her tiny 3 color Volkswagen bug. ...driving through Vermont......listening to this on the radio. Brings back wonderful memories. Those days and that music just CANT BE BEAT!! It was a time when people really thought about their music and put heart and soul into it. I believe he wrote that song just prior to joining the Eagles. Another amazing band❤❤❤

I remember hearing this song back in 1979. I was in the Army at Ft Sill, OK. It came on the AM radio in my car. Had to get home and try to find it on an FM station. Then, to the record store. All these years later and it still sounds great. RIP Rusty Young, ya kid good son.

I think you'll like Atlanta Rhythm Section - 'Imaginary Lover' (There are several prank videos on KZitem that claim to be a Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac cover of the song. It is actually just the ARS recording speeded up. Does sound just like Stevie, though. Thought about pulling that gag on you, but you're too nice a person. You can check it out yourself.)
