So, every time Paul has previously been on the podcast, he has to explain (for the benefit of any new listeners, who haven't listened back to the older podcasts) who he is and how they know each other? - and, one presumes for all future appearances will do the same for them too - and yet somehow still manages to achieve a spike in listening figures, despite long time listeners having already heard it all at least eighteen times before? It's podcast gold, it really is. Also, I almost missed the paid ad for Keylex condensing oil boilers, so seamless was the segue in their conversation.

It’s even more unfortunate that the job market is so undesirable and low paying that it only makes sense to build a podcast that can earn you multiple six figures with considerably less effort, affording you more personal liberty. Some of these podcast producers have very cushy lives in comparison. The people who are creating popular content are winning above others with a sincere employment in a regular job. You are forced to have a personality and be a creator just so you can scale your income in a way that is not possible by just being an introvert, putting your head down and sticking to your regular employment.
