Why do it ? 1. No other will be like yours.... 2. Learn things about the Glock platform NO manual can teach. 3. It will teach you to be patient...methodical...precise... 4. It's fun....you can never have enough fun...8)

Take 2-3 strokes on the ejector with a flat file. Brass won't hit you in the face and 15$ can go towards ammo.

That’s actually a good idea, I’ve got a bunch of gen 3 ejectors that I’ve taken out of my builds and replaced with gen 4s may experiment with that on my next build

@@jamesbaker1392 Indeed, the aftermarket extractor in my aftermarket slide for a G23 clone build had to be replaced with an OEM Glock extractor... And NO a half a Magazine is not even REMOTELY enough...200 rounds issue free before trusting 8)

Great video, nice holes. The glock 26x sounds cool, I like the 19x so the 26x seems interesting. I have no idea where the sweet spot with barrel length is. What do you think about the gst-9?
@jamesbaker1392

I’ve never built a GST9 for some reason not too interested in them myself, although I hear they’re very good frames. I had my 26x video up but KZitem removed it

@@jamesbaker1392 youtube being youtube :( is there any specific reason why you're not interested? Is it just because you think the p80 is already "good enough" and you can't be bothered with the gst-9 or is it because you think the p80 is better than the gst-9? Personally I think the gst-9 mod 1 is better than a p80.. but the rear rails on the reciever are a tiny bit thinner on the gst-9. I'm not sure if that matters for reliability. The gst-9 is much more comfortable, but that doesn't mean it will perform better. So I'm curious what you think since you seem to have a good understanding of all this.

@@ilovehotdogs125790 never got notified of this reply, but as it stands I’ll get a GST9 eventually, I just don’t like the look of it tbh. I’ve heard they’re much easier to complete though, and I’m not opposed to them. If I ever find a GST on sale I’ll be buying it

Does the longer pin need to be Gen 3 or was it not an issue to use a Gen 4/5?

If you’re talking about the extended back strap length trigger housing pin that I recommend using, they’re the same size through all generations (3mm)
