Fatty meat and organs and fish should of course be the center of the diet, alongside dairy and eggs. However, you should also consume your fruits, vegetables and certain grains (that don't irritate). Honey and dark chocolate are also great sources of carbs.

In my opinion it is not the fiber or the meat intake that is causing this change. What’s happening here is a reduction in saturated fat intake (which helps produce T) and increase PUFA which is a metabolic destroyer. A diet super high in fat and limited in carbs will reduce T in long term due to elevated stress hormone. The key is to have plenty of fats and carbs to optimize hormone production (keep PUFA Low and SFA high). Demonizing a whole macronutrient ends bad for everyone as we’re seeing in both carb vs fat camps. Give your body what it needs and it’ll give you everything else.

Replacing Fatty meat intake with vegetables without an increase in plant protein or fat from avocado,olive oil,or nuts is not exactly proof that being vegan lowers testosterone. It would be a more useful study to replace meat with semi comparable plant protein and fats to see if it still lowers testosterone.
@kindcolt2747

No plant protein is comparable to meat and/or eggs and/or milk products. your proposal for a different approach is void (nuts are the best source you listed or could come up with besides peas) Its possible to note that their could be a transition period for adjusting to the vegetarian diet that may cause the flux in hormone levels, and simply looking at immediate results doesnt capture the whole picture. But there is a reason the african tribes that hunt animals and eat honey jump higher, run farther, and sprint faster than american world class athletes
@Adam-lz7sr

@@kindcolt2747 I am aware,however some combinations of isolated plant proteins could come close. For example a 70/30 ratio of pea to rice protein colloquially known as “vegan whey”. It seems to me that this study wasn’t really a one for one swap. And all it really tells you is that lowering protein and fat intake lowers test. Coconut oil is also known to raise cholesterol as opposed to something like grapeseed oil which lowers it when compared to animal fat.

fiber helps you detox liver. one of the things that will come.our is estrogen. choose your fibers. mono and saturated fat are better, meat is needed. as good carbs depending on your levels of glycogen depletion. or activity. or muscle size. or quick thyroid. carbs helps the convertion of t4 to t3. so less prolactin. less estrogen. more motivation. and higher dht.
