Well, in the case of a "pop-up" style stopper (with the pull lever in the faucet), there are other areas that get clogged. Honestly, I should have gone further in that previous video and cleaned out the drain stopper while I was at it... but here we are, it decided to stop up almost completely.
So this is a follow-up to the previous video, showing a bit more in-depth on how to easily remove the stopper, clean it out, and reinstall it, without any tools and no damage!

That's the closest I can find to what mine looks like -- look for "similar items" on that page until you find the one that looks most like yours. Check measurements as well, and make sure you get a "complete kit" if you do need to replace the whole thing.
