Honestly what got me down the track was my suspension setup, vs the fellas most of y’all have stock set up’s or just lowering springs.

As far as your shifting at 6200 that isn't a bad idea that is why you see so many 13s with issues because guys wanna rev them to 7000 even with mods or upgraded blowers and that is a nono on stock bottom end. You can prob be ok with 6500 but that is max. I shift my 07 at 6500 when I'm really getting after it or racing or something it's a gen3r car around 750 or so when I do headers this week I'm thinking 775 and boost should drop from 20 down to 19 give or take so it'll be more efficient overall. I'm on 93 and boostane. Do not Rev these cars above 6500 5.4 or 5.8 especially if you're making a good bit more than stock hp. Smart man.

Turbo cars will see max boost earlier in the rpm range than a centrifugal. Could be all in around 3,500 for instance where centrifugal won’t see full boost til time to shift. Area under the curve goes to turbo in this instance if turbo(s) are sized properly. Twin screws see max boost almost instantly. All can, and do do well just kinda personal preference really👍

I think it does. You will go faster with more average power. It's particularly important on a street car that spends alot of its time below 5000 rpm even when you're ripping it some and having fun. So therefor torque and power on the hit and overall curve and average power is absolutely important on that particular setup (street car) but even at the track more average power is always gonna go faster. So I think the answer is yes it is important. Another example is on na 5.0s where a cj might not pick up alot peak over an 18 manifold but it carries the power out alot better and it drops off less up top. This means it has a decent bit more average power which means it's gonna be quicker (assuming all things are equal). This is a good example of area under the curve and the overall power curve being important and to not just focus on peak power.
