FINALLY!!! A video that shows how the wheels connect!! Now I should be able to use the train motor for other purposes. My current goal is to use it in combination with the powered up remote to make a GBC build that can have its speed adjusted without needing to mess with the Powered Up app. I know the train motor has about 5-6x the RPM as the regular motors, but that shouldn't be hard to compensate for with proper gearing. I just wish LEGO would wake up and realize that not everybody wants to build trains and RC vehicles. Some of us would like to make stationary builds and use grid power and a basic analogue set-and-forget speed controller so our builds can run continuously instead of 20 minutes at a time . . .

I do appreciate this video sooooo much! However, you failed to mention how hard it is to get the minifig engineer in there! Fiddly is an understatement!
