as a TV engineer one of the biggest complaints I get is
: My TV is only 18 months old and its gone wrong already :
So I explain its gone wrong because its so cheap and then the customer will say something like : It wasn't cheap , it cost me £300;
To which I reply , A TV set was £300 in the 1980 s and if electrical goods had kept up with inflation like cars have done you would have paid £2,000 for your TV and then it would have lasted longer because it would be made of better quality.
