Astonishing! For several years now, this channel has been the best place to learn how to master Keyshot at a professional level. Thank you very much, Mr. Gibbons!

I've rarely used any materials with anisotropic properties, so I'm not really familiar with how it works or what it's used for. This quick tutorial was a great intro to it!

Well finally I start to understand the entire anisotropic stuff a bit. Great video and I'm sure going to use it next time I need some fancy metal! Really well explained (again).

Thanks Oscar. I would have liked to have some better visual aids, but hoping this feels intuitive enough to be helpful!

your videos are really amazing and helpful.Is there any video available camera switch animation of you??
@WillGibbons

Not on my KZitem channel. I have found them to be less than reliable in the past. So, I normally render out each camera animation on its own. Then I combine them in a video editing app.

I watched a lot of your courses and liked them very much, but there were no subtitles. It would be nice if there were subtitles, and it would be even better if there were Chinese. Thank you so much for sharing

That is what I share in the other video about this topic. I also have a paid course teaching that, which I linked to in the description of this video. Learn more here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/mIOgspyJsZmgiJwfeature=shared

Hello,Will,can you teach us about beech wood meterials,i want to do the wood style ,but i can't do it well .

Wood is tricky. I still think the best approach is to check my procedural wood tutorial unless you have high-quality image textures to use.

How can one create a realistic material for an ice cube where the inside of the ice cube has bubbles trapped as well as white but on the outside the ice cube is transparent as well as glossy I have spend around 24 + hours searching this query but I am unable to understand this material and unable to rap my head around it can you give me some kind of hint or help in this regard
@WillGibbons

Not really possible in KeyShot. You can make bubbles in KeyShot, but again, to make it look like realistic ice, I don't know of a way.

@@WillGibbons How and where is it possible Do U think it is possiblew in blender If yes as I have seen in many other videos on the internet Once that realkistic ice effect is achieved in blender or any other software Can that result be not translated into keyshot

I have tried your procedure to create a metal with anisotropic angle but it seems not to work.. do you have any suggestion or active special parameter? Im using Keyshot studio 2024.2... thanks
@WillGibbons
Ай бұрын
Hmm. It should work, assuming there's not a bug causing an issue. I haven't tested on 2024.2. Sorry, in the meantime, my only suggstion is to make sure you didn't miss any settings or steps from the tutorial. Sorry about that.

@@WillGibbons Hi Will, thanks. I solved the problem (roughness was left at 0) so it's working in KS studio 2024.2 too..
