Great! I really like these recreation videos, because they teach you so much about tracking, production and mixing and are also inspiring even if you're not into covering. But there are too many of quick and dirty recreation videos, which miss the details of the process. So I'm having high hope that recreation videos from you are a very welcome addition to those high quality recreations. And I could understand that you just do them once in a while, because they are so much work.

BRAVO Dom and BIG BRAVO for Iro!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Her voice sounds amazing, love her low notes and passion ..and to be honest, she is very beautiful 😊. I wish, of course, see video about mixing this but I have one question about recording AC guitar. What signal chain you used after WA-67? Direct into what preamp , with or witouth compression? Thank you ! And of course , see you making more videos of recrations a song from start to end would be amazing!

Woow, this is high quality music content! There is some great guidelines on how to make latin type arrangment. Ofcourse that I would like see part 2. Only part which I didn’t is SWAM violins, I think that there are better sounding virtual instruments out there. SWAM just sound too synthy and unrealistic to my ears. For this purpose I would use Gypsy Romantic Violin from Strezov \ Balkan Ethnic Orchectra or even The Fiddle from Indiginus. Both libraries have that expressive & humanistic style of perfomance. For more convential approach I would use Joshua Bell Violin from Embertone or Stradivari Violin from e-instruments. All in all, I really enjoy your videos.. I would like to see more similar stuff. 😊

Amazing overall...! 2hat happened at 13.52? I listened with my eyes closed as I like to...and heard a difference that is noticeable...as if the song was cut shorter a little...I have to say you singer is unbelievable.. amazing voice and expressive execution...some notes could sound a little longer but the female take is amazing...I'm mainly a listener and heard this track countless of times.. loving it... One more....the electric guitar as well after 13.53 needs longer time to 3xt3nd the track especially with how you play...I always wanted the track to be twice as long....I really believe you can easily do it with the amount of drive you have... Best wishes from London! Fantastic!

Жыл бұрын
Hey Bee! Thanks for the kind comments! Yes, the video was edited at that part - tried to keep it as short as possible because if I left all the performances intact the video would be around 40min! I wish most people’s attention span were as good as yours! I hate cutting the music short but people are scared to click on super long videos. Maybe at some point I’ll find a way to provide this full content to my subscribers that want to watch it.

Great results Dom and Iro. a question, when doing a "Cover" song i usually start with learning the Part/instrument add a similar sound to cubase and record in parts all or instrument part and go to the next track and search for a sound etc.., your approach in this video is as i can see it, you analyze and prepper all tracks with their sounds for the song and then record the song tracks any benefits for this approach or its just a matter of habit ? and of course we want see and hear more from Iro, great voice and nice person that adds to your youtube Channel experience
@DomSigalas
Жыл бұрын
Hello my friend! It’s actually what I found to work best after doing this hundreds of times. I start with sound design in order to get the sounds/instrumentation right and I work my way to the top with mixing. But figuring out exactly what every instrument is playing is the most critical part for sure!

No it wasn’t planned! Actually, at first the plan was to record just the original backing track without vocals. Then I thought it would be interesting to show the vocals recording process . Thanks, Dom! I am slowly learning lots of interesting concepts and skills thanks to your channel. I only follow a few channels on youtube and yours is definitely one of the best.
