This is the adjustment procedure that I use for the finishing crimp die on a .410 MEC 9000 once you've modified it to be used with the thick red aluminum B&R index plate.
Question. I get the logic. So you are using brand new unfired factory shell to set the crimp after the pre crimp? If I understand correctly, you loosen the jam nut then down stroke completely. Then turn the crimp cup until it touches top of unfired shell with an additional quarter turn. Then tighten jam nut. Correct? How did they turn out after doing that? You left us hanging.

It just might have been nice if you said just what the hell you were doing ? I would have really have been nice if you said what model of MEC you were working on ? They make all kinds just in case you did not know ? This is definitely a THUMBS DOWN 👎 .

Good lord man! If your are serious about You Tube videos, buy a second or third camera and two camera stands. After that, be specific in the title of your video. This isn’t fucking rocket science but you do need to help peeps search for what you have to say. Sheesh!
