6.5 hours total including alignment and millimeter wave radar calibration. That kit is $1,830 CAD up here in Canuckistan not including labour to install. At the $129/hr we charge that's another $840 in labour alone, so a total of $2,670 pre-tax or about $3070 CAD with provincial and federal sales tax.

The labor time is listed in a book which every car dealer has. The “book”!hours are paid by the retail customer even if the mechanic finishes the job in less time. The mechanic also gets paid “book” hours at his regular pay rate. Hence, the incentive is to git er done, so if snap on sells a tool that lets the mechanic get a job done faster, he buys it. The mechanics can make many more book hours than 40 actual hours. Thats the game.

I have a 2020 TRD Sport 4x4 and I just talked to my local Toyota dealer a couple of days ago about getting this kit installed. I think the guy told me they charge $114 an hour for labor, and that they have installed a couple of them. The guy who does them is on vacation this week, but he's going to call me next week to set up a time for them to install it. I'll let everyone know how it goes. Main thing for ne was it doesn't affect your factory warranty.
