Awesome video! I remember in rehab, the smallest therapists could easily move the biggest patients. It's all about technique! 💯

Yeah bro with the right technique people can transfer way bigger or heavier patients.. I'm 6'1 and Alison in the video is 5'0 so even though I'm not heavy it's still in awkward transfer size-wise but her technique is awesome 💯

Never seen this technique before, will add it to my list. I hate when my legs spasm like that lol

Sean, the transfer technique of this video was perfectly executed! Both front and back transfer techniques were easy to see and duplicate. I watched it twice the only omission was at 13:36 when your PT stated after "the first 6 months you can have improvement for the rest of your life". That is true but it doesn't just come back! You have to take it back through strength training...

Thanks dude! She definitely knows what she's talking about with technique and all that. And I fully agree! You won't get anything back if you don't work for it and you just sit around waiting for people to do things for you..

Awesome. Really impressed. I got stuck bent over forward on my knees one day. Was not strong enough to push myself back up. Had to call 911 to come get me back upright. Scary.

Yeah that's a really scary situation. I've heard of some pretty scary stuff and I've gotten into a couple but luckily been able to call friends or family close by instead of having to call 911. Glad you're ok and were able to get help!

Just a thought, for those of us that are a little bigger and pivot transfers are problematic, how about a slide board transfer video?

Thanks, and yeah I've kicked many things over the years but been lucky enough not to hurt anything too bad.
