I went fishing in SoCal for the first time and I could feel how pressured it is out there.

How long between when you dumped it vs when you landed it? Same outfit so I'm assuming same day. Would love to see a rundown of your GoPro setups on the boat.

At 2:02 mark in the video it says it. I need to step my game up if I cant retain your attention for 2 minutes! haha. I've thought of the gopro video for a while but it does feel a bit "KZitemy" to do. But there is value in it.

sick video as always. i’m still bummed about the battle shad 6.0, lol. I was dying to get my hands on one. but it’s all good. how are you liking the tatula 300?
@WorkingClassZeroFishing
3 жыл бұрын
The Tatula is great but I think there are somethings they should tweak for further production. Main thing is that it is extremely sensitive when adjusting the spool tension. I I run a completely full spool, I deal with insane amounts of backlash so I just learned to not load a full spool of line. I leave about an 1/8" from the rim.
@8.21productions9

@@WorkingClassZeroFishing that seems like a common issue with all of the tatulas at least in my experience. i’ve got the 150 and the tatula sv and if I run full spools I have that issue. I was contemplating getting the 300 but it kept being out of stock so I just went with a lexa 300.

Never fail to amaze with those captures! You must have tough shoulders from chucking those huge baits haha Do you think it's better for the fish to cradle them under the stomach instead of hanging them by the jaw?
@WorkingClassZeroFishing
3 жыл бұрын
I think the best course of action is to do your best to take care. Things don’t always go as planned, but there is no excuse for blatant disrespect of the fish. I don’t know the science behind which way it is better to hold them but I believe each way has it pluses and minuses. From the jaw, you’re applying more stress on the jaw and throat than is natural by any stretch of the imagination. In the cradled hands, you’re more prone to damaging the slime coat but touching them with chemically covered hands or rubbing them up against clothing. It’s all situational and I try to give people some space to operate when it comes to how they are treating a fish during what is often an adrenaline pumping moment.

I NEVER touch fish with dry hands now. It's a force of habit for me to dip a hand in the water before grabbing a fish. I figure that's just one more small measure to take to respect the fish, and might even help a lot. Needless to say I always try to keep them off dry surfaces, as well. Good stuff...

Only a hour and a half later and in the same bait!? That's nuts. Usually if I put hooks into a fish at all I just leave it alone for the rest of the day. Apparently I gotta change the way I fish lol.

It all just depends on the fish. What kind of mood are they in.
