@@AlekseyMaksimovichPeshkov I think claims like that study seems to make is why many dont respect psychology. They likely, for the sake of ease of research, use a narrow definition of "religious" and thus skew the results. Being religious encompasses an incredibly wide range of behaviors that cannot be easily reduced down to a single questionnaire for the purpose of research. You also really cant do proper experimental controls when it comes to human researcg either. Christianity was founded primarily by men, all of our theological understanding comes primarily from male scholars. Was religious study included in that study as a component of their definition of "being religious"? The best advice I can give to anyone looking into psychology is to look hard at how research terms are defined and studied. They can easily be misleading. Good luck with your goals! As a final warning, its not uncommon to find people that are outright hostile towards religion in the field

36:22 Anime is not inherently satanic in an of itself, but the subject matter encased within it. For a style that originated as a parody of 1960's Disney animation, it has become rather unfairly villainized. However, I say this: Many animes preserve traditional gender roles, and are quite adept at portraying love as more than just sex, which America often fails at. The anime/manga Berserk is an accidental allegory about the fight between good and evil that has a lot of Christian parallels (Griffith being the god of light, Guts having stigmata injuries, the protagonist being targeted by the evil forces in a way similar to how we are tempted by sin, etc.). It is dark, it is bloody, but it is a very valuable read. There are some very wholesome shows as well that my friend has pointed out. In sum, I'd say it isn't, but you can interpret it however you want. We all think differently.

About anime: Watching anime has made me want to make a historical anime that walks through the Bible. Reading the Bible, I've noticed there is a lot of scenes that are hard to envision except as an anime- even if overdramatized. There's plenty of bad anime out there, but the medium is not inherently demonic. I also think it would be a neat way to reach out to degenerates. Because if there were more than one god, each god would have to possess some quality about them that isnt found in the others, otherwise there would be no distinction from each one. You can't have multiple omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, omnibenevolent beings with wills that conflict with each other. In that situation, every god would be limited in some way, lacking some perfection, and a limited god is no god at all. If someone tries to say that there can be multiple perfect beings that all share the exact same qualities, and each to the same extent, then those multiple perfect beings are actually the same being via the Law of Identity. Those are just my 2 cents, though.

Love what you are doing here. I also love Rev. Calvin Robinson, especially as a British Anglican who is on the verge of converting to Catholicism. I must correct your statement about him though, as he isn't acting out any belief in staying with the Church of England. He has actually been ordained into the Free Church of England, which is not affiliated with the C of E at all. It's a very small group of churches in the country (I think there are about a dozen), and the vast majority of practicing Anglican churches in England at least are fully affiliated with the C of E, with its many liberal leanings, including female ordination, upcoming same-sex blessings and a pretty low view of both Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. There is far more interest and motivation in environmental issues than preaching the gospel.

Yes! He visited the Basement Farm Baptist Church! I am not actually sure whether I am entirely memorialist in the perspective of communion. While I don't believe in transsubstantiation, I've always felt that there is something spiritual going on in the background. Kind of like what you, Redeemed Zoomer, numerous times expressed as the traditional Calvinist view that we are really feeding on Christ, but in a spiritual way (correct me, if I recounted that wrong). I'm actually finding myself kind-of agreeing with quite a few things of your tradition, aswell as other traditions I started to explore, because I found your channel and it inspired me to take a deeper look at what other traditions have to say. The past few weeks have really been an opportunity for me to refelect on what I believe and why. While I am still Baptist, I am aware now of the potential shortcomings of my tradition (but also the strengths) and I have a deeper respect for other denominations, because I've seen that the Holy Spirit works wherever people are holding to the essentials of christianity with an honest heart. Which is awesome! The book on the lectern in my chapel is Psalm 1 btw :)

I’m a little late for comments since this video was released around a month ago. Redeemed Zoomer, I love your channel, and I believe you are doing good work. As a Southern Baptist, training for ministry in an SBC seminary, and as one who loves studying the Protestant Reformation, I have to disagree with your stance on Baptist being a part of the Anabaptists/Radical Reformation tradition. The first Baptists were heavily influenced by the Puritan and Separatist movements of the Anglican Church. They actually held more in common with those of the Reformed tradition than with Anabaptists. Even the opening of the First London Confession makes this clear: “The confession of faith of those churches which are commonly, though falsely, called Anabaptists.” I can understand the confusion because even many modern Baptist speak and act like radical reformers. Honestly, it’s way to complicated to speak about all the nuances of Baptist beliefs in one comment, but it’s a fascinating tradition. Maybe we could discuss it more in the future. Keep up the good work, and God be with you, brother.

Of course the latter. God gently guiding His creation over time and not needing big explosive miracles constantly to work is a point FOR Him, not against Him. Theistic evolution is entirely comply with Christianity.

Better answer for the same-sex attraction question: while that’s not what I went though, you can be set free, but it’s HARD. Get real, serious, trustworthy Christian help. I mean have someone who has walked others through it before and been successful. They will address the heart of the matter. There is something in your heart that is telling you that you are in desperate need of make companionship, which is actually a good thing, but it is coming through in an unhealthy way. Often this kind of ministry is called “Sozo” counseling, where the person or people who are ministering to you are asking you many questions and then praying over and with you about them. They’ll often have you address God directly and honestly. This is deep heart stuff, and you can’t just do it on your own, you need someone to lean on, who knows HOW to get to the real issue. You can’t just pray it away, and you can’t just will it away, because the human will is not strong enough on its own. You need an advocate. I truly do hope this helps.

I do not think anime is inherently satanic. Anime is by definition Japanese animation. It’s too broad to make a blanket statement. Some of these animations are good and espouse good values, others are bad, others I would definitely classify as satanic. Anime is more controversial than western animation because anime is aimed at all ages and is more likely to have sexual aspects. However, it is also more likely to have good values in it. I take recommendations from fellow Christians before watching anime, and I watch each show with discernment.

Did he say the best argument against Christianity is PureFlix? I'd like an elaboration on that since I'm considering a subscription.

Damn, I somehow missed the Q&A session. In case you do another one, may I ask if you agree with the belief that pride flags are satanic symbols? Love your content, God bless.

As a Lutheran, at least in name, I do affirm that "is" means "is". However, I think that nuance is indeed of the essence. If you were to cut open a person who had just received the Eucharist, you would find bread in their stomach. The transubstantiation is not physical, so it "is" not literally, physically, a piece of His body. It is purely spiritual. I think the "is" should more accurately be interpreted as "having eaten this, is equal in all ways to haven eaten the physical flesh of Christ". It is as if you had literally consumed His body, in every way conceivable, except, of course, that it was bread that you consumed. I'm not sure if that counts as mental gymnastics. Our Faith is indeed complex. However, the Lord said "τοῦτό ἐστιν μου σῶμά". If the Lord says it "is" His body, then His body it is. Nothing more, nothing less.
