Great tips! They make spreader sockets you can use that won't risk cracking the lower strut mount collar--makes life a little easier.

i was wondering if there is enough room to remove the bottom fork off the shock before removing the shock itself, thanks!

@@lukaszM46 I don’t think there is, you have to remove the fork of the control arm first.

@@Dave_Bee yes thats what I mean, take off the 2 bolts for the upper control arms (on the top mount side since pinch bolt is a pain), then if you take off the fork at the bottom of the shock (which your video shows there is enough room to do) its possible to then remove the shock itself, together with the top mount. I saw other videos where people left the fork on the shock and pulled the whole suspension down to make room, but this method looked to me like its putting a lot of strain on the bushings.

@@lukaszM46 there’s a lot of stuff in the way with the axle and swap bar, I felt like it was necessary to remove the lower fork from the strut
