Great Tonya, many years ago I worked in a laser group at university, I was tasked with the challenge of using diode lasers to replace the dye lasers. My main realisation was just how a solid state laser could shrink the bandwidth of radiation. Surely quantum dots take this much further....My question What is the bandwidth of emission of a qdot?
