In this episode of Budget Build Garage, Nick talks about a problem on the Pro Street Drag Racing El Camino. He talks about the different options he has to fixing the quarter panel and dealing with the body work on the car. The car will either need a patch panel or it will require fitting the entire quarter panel.
The plan is to turn this classic 1968 Chevy into a pro street race car. This pro street build will consist of back halving the car. Watch as we remove all of the floor and factory frame from the trans cross member on back. Then we'll install race type frame and flooring that will accept 4-links systems for the upgraded suspension. We will also add a roll cage for safety. Stay tuned as we upgrade to a bigger block engine and install a Pro Charger.
