Chicken soup with fine vermicelli and tomatoes in Turkish style is light, mouth-watering, delicious and very easy-cooked.
Ingredients:
• chicken breast fillet - 500 g
• chopped tomatoes - 400 g
• garlic - 3 cloves
• fine vermicelli - 100 g
• vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
• ground black pepper - ½ tsp
• water - 2 l
• lemon- to taste
• fresh parsley - to taste
• salt - 1 tsp
You will need:
• 2 stockpots
Preparation:
1. Lay the chicken into a stockpot and pour with 2 l of water, bring to a boil, skim the froth and over with a lid, reduce the heat to low and boil for 30 minutes.
2. Take the fillet out into a bowl and tear into fibers.
3. In a stockpot heat the vegetable oil over medium heat, add the minced garlic and fry for a minute, add the tomatoes, stir and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
4. Add the chicken broth, we recommend to strain it, and bring to a boil.
5. Add the salt, black pepper and vermicelli, stir and cook for 3 minutes until readiness, taking into account the instruction on pasta package.
6. Add then the chicken meat, salt and pepper to taste, cook for a couple of minutes and take off from the stove.
7. Serve the Turkish-style chicken soup hot having sprinkled with fresh parsley and adding a lemon slice into each serving dish.
