Ingredients:
• 250g pork, thinly sliced
• Salt
• Soy sauce
• White pepper powder (or substitute with black pepper)
• 1 egg white
• Oil
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp cooking wine
• 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
• 2 tbsp black vinegar
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 cup water
• Garlic, minced
• Green onions, chopped
• 1 tsp broad bean paste (or substitute with chili paste)
• Julienne carrots
• Thinly sliced peppers
Instructions:
1. Thinly slice pork. 🐖
2. Marinate pork with salt, soy sauce, white pepper powder (or black pepper), and egg white. Mix well, add a dash of oil, and marinate for 15 minutes. 🥢
3. In a bowl, combine 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cooking wine, 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce, 2 tbsp black vinegar, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and 1 cup water to make the sauce. 🍍
4. Pan-fry marinated pork until browned, then set aside. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic and chopped green onions until fragrant. 🧄
5. Add cooked pork back into the pan with broad bean paste (or chili paste). Stir-fry for 2 minutes. 🌶️
6. Add julienne carrots and thinly sliced peppers to the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce. 🥕
7. Cook over high heat until the sauce thickens, ensuring all ingredients are well coated. 💧
8. Serve hot and enjoy your sweet and spicy pork stir-fry! 🍽️
