I have found that using ac welding and also wrapping the ground cable around the pipe few times helps fight the magnetic force

My friend uses a double ground system. He puts a ground on either side of the weld if he has arc blow.

Why use the fittings? Wouldn’t coping the pipe be easier.

its actually way faster with the fittings because its chop and weld with top rail, and with post you just run down through there chop them to height knock the slag off with a grinding wheel really fast slip fitting on and weld it

What are your measurements on that fence? Total height, spacing, pipe size? Man it looks really good id like to do one like that around my place.

Its probably around 5ft high , line poles are 9-10ft apart. Hes using 2 7/8 for the linepoles , toprail and 2nd 3rd row. The smaller pipes he added are 2 3/8.

so it is 5ft in height posts are 10ft on center apart post and top rail are 2 7/8 and rails are 2 3/8, and the hangers we use for the rails keep them at 13-15 apart
