*STOP and take a moment before you judge!!, PLEASE READ* You may not know this but I have an invisible disability and illness (Lupus SLE) This is what started my hair journey. In this video I am lifting my arms up which is the first time I have done this in 6 months. I struggle to do my job and look after myself let alone my hair. hence the 6 month gap in my video uploads. I was really nervous about texturising my hair and even more nervous about posting it on youtube, because I know people love to hate and judge. *But remember everyone has a story* Please be kind and respectful. I am doing this to make my life and *MY* hair journey that little bit easier. This is my truth. Thanks so much for watching!!

I'm so glad I came across your channel and read your comment because I'm now dealing with a disability and have decided to either texlax or relax my hair too. So thank you for sharing your story! With what's going on in my life right now I have learned to work smarter not harder! And staying 100% natural is definitely not smarter for me right now. Thanks again and I hope all is well 🙏

Hey! Everyone hair is different so I can tell you how long it’ll take for you to get your desired effect. However, I would suggest having your hair sectioned out thoroughly so you do the more curse hair first and the fine hair last. So that the treatment doesn’t stay on the fine hair too long! I think I waited a further 5 minutes after application which may have still been too long. As I had straight bits which I didn’t want. Try cutting some hair off and putting the relaxer on the hair and watching how long it takes to change and then you can decide. But ultimately if you want to keep your kinks then try not to leave on for too long. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

I know this is your natural curl, but do you happen to have any knowledge on if this treatment might help relax a perm done in a professional salon? Note: I’m mobility challenged due to a hemorrhagic stroke I had right after giving birth. I got a perm in a salon because I wanted wash and wear, loose soft waves (naturally very straight, fine hair but lots of it. No color, & no heat styling unless salon blow dries me) Anyway, the result was nothing like what I asked for. After all I’ve been through I will never cry over hair, I’ve had a shaved head after my stroke and lots of different hairstyles & colors in my life… But the hair I ended up with is NOT wash & wear. I did go back to the salon and the owner offered a lot of additional services free of charge (but was defensive & poopy) but I didn’t want to use any more chemicals, so I just had her chop 3in off so it felt better. I’m just trying to relax the curls/kinks/waves and roller lines🙄so I don’t have to fuss as much. So sorry for the novel and thank you for any suggestions!✨💖💫
