Hello from beautiful Colorado! I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your videos and that I have learned so much from them. I've been quilting for so many years now and to be honest I'm a little burned out. Your videos have inspired me to try some new things and I'm very grateful for that. Take care, you two, and I love that Enzo! He cracks me up!

I just love your Quilt Roadies videos, and especially your tutorials. You've inspired me to do some wool appliqué, now I just need to see how the Feather Stitch is done. I've pictures, but nothing beats a video:) I've purchased SF101, what a difference for the back of embroidery items as well as appliqué. What a difference that product makes. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!!!!

Good tutorial, hand stitching close ups are most helpful when we see both Anna's hands and the project. I (and local shops) appreciate your trying to source supplies locally before buying online. When printing patterns, you usually want to print at the same scale as the original (100% rather than fit-to-page), and some patterns include a square inch somewhere so you can double check before you start cutting and working. Could you please show-and-tell detail for the quilter's knot? Thanks sew much. P.S. Mr. Turpin and/or his family may enjoy seeing his little house in your beehive and your delight in having it there.

Hello Anna, G and Enzo. I have been enjoy all your videos and as I stitch in wool this evening with my 13 week old puppy at my feet, I really enjoyed the stitch lesson. Thank you. Please keep them coming. I used to do embroidery as a kid. I have forgotten most of my lessons. Even though I am allergic to all parts of the sheep, including wool, I love working with it. I find if I wash it or if it has been over dyed it doesn't bother me so much. It's the fiber and especially the lanolin that bothers me. Much like you though I love my wool. Working on a project by Need'l. Love by Lyn Hosford called "prancing through the woods". A Christmas theme but oh so much fun. Started it 3 years ago, just one of those UFO ' S we all have. Thank you for setting my stitching butt on fire! Lol I have missed it Blessings, Pea

Hi Anna. I so much enjoy watching all of your Quilt Roadies adventures. Thank you for the trellis stitch tutorial. Beautiful. For all things Japanese and more, please find time to visit the Shibori Dragon, located in University Place, outside of Tacoma, Washington. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed. The owner, Becky, also carries batiks, woolens, quilting cottons, notions, but what I call her Japan Room is breathtakingly overwhelming to the senses :-)♡. Thank you again and please give Enzo some lovins from another dog lover. Elena

Each months's pattern is only free in that month...then it costs. So first step is to be sure to download on the month she posts. I think she posts each month on the second Friday but am not sure...so that is something you must check into. Block 7 should be coming out this week...when it does you can click on it to download and copy :)

Hello! I have two questions and I apologize if I missed the explanations. My first question is, how do I know which fusible (SF101 and soft fuse) to use when? I just received my first ever wool project from Buttermilk Basin and I didn't realize I needed both for different reasons. I hope that makes sense! My second question is what needle are you using to do the stitches? I went to Sue Spargo's site and I saw needle packs with several different types with all different sizes. I decided to do wool appliqué after watching your videos and since then I have been ordering a ton of appliqué patterns from Buttermilk Basin, laundry basket quilts, McKenna Ryan and Toni Whitney. They are all just stunning and I can't wait to do them all! The only problem is that I can't decide what to do first! Thank you for the tutorial and for introducing me to the wonderful world of appliqué!!!
