This was minecraft's most precise verified parkour jump until 1 day after uploading, as I quickly found 16 and 17, so here's what I previously wrote about this:

Here's a global explanation of how it was found and why it wasn't found before:
When going beyond the realm of 1E-10 (here, 7E-11), we must face 3 major challenges:
The player is not exactly 0.6 blocks wide; in fact the width of the player is 0.6F, which is unprecise, and actually 2.384185791015625E-8 bigger than 0.6. This doesn't matter at all for conventional jumps but since the precision here is way smaller than E-8, we must account for it.
During calculations, minecraft uses lots of floats in convoluted ways, therefore any of our simplified formulas will simply not match with the "real" distance in-game (error of up to E-8 sometimes, E-7 or E-6 if it carries on for many ticks). The only to create a 100% accurate formula is to replicate the source code.... And this is exactly what I did.
Precise jumps are exponentially sparser, and the difference between 15 and 14 strafes is extremely small (less than 1E-10). We need fast algorithms to find 15, and it will even more true when finding 16 or more.
