I like the practical perspective. I agree it is important for the tools to be useful in the work place and fun. Thanks for the explanations of your methods. You have a beautiful collection of kanna, they look very loved.

Thank you very much.🙏 I try to make daily adjustments as easy as possible, because if I am too particular about adjustments and they become complicated, daily hand tool adjustments become a hassle and I become lazy to use hand tools. For me, if I can make adjustments easily and get good results, my daily work becomes more enjoyable. The hand tools in the video are my partners.

It is always nice when you answer one of my questions before I can ask it! I am going to make some ichimai kanna with blades I have made and wanted to know how to get the best performance. Thank you!

Thanks for watching my video.🙏 Ichimai kanna is very difficult to adjust haguchi. In any case, have a great time with your hand tools.😊🙇♂️🙇♂️
Thank you very much for all the information you share. Could you show sometime how you are adjusting mimi? It looks very nice and even on your blades.

Thank you for watching my video. I use a grinder to adjust the Mimi part of the Kanna blade. In the future, I plan to make and post a comprehensive video on how to adjust the entire blade section.

It was fun untill I work on very hard wood like iron wood. Any advice to use kanna for hardwood? Thank you

I do not often use hard woods such as hardwoods. I sometimes use oak, but rarely plane it. When planing zelkova, I sharpen the blade at a slightly steeper angle than 30 degrees. The angles are done by intuition.

@@chantarokichi5360 thank you. My new plane blade just arrived, I will try.
Sleeping as a boy with carpentry tools in your bed and enjoying the feel of them in the hand was a joy to me and it seems you also 😃

It is a strange feeling to have someone in the world who can share the same memories, but at the same time, it is also reassuring. Thank you very much.🙏🙏
