How did it all go? Mine has the same movement and I get a vibration at revs under 2000rpm However nothing one I remove the front shaft

So I replaced the bearings that support that front output shaft. Still have the same amount of movement. Put the driveshaft in… same noise. When the driveshaft is out, no noise. As for vibration, Im not too sure I had any. I never really felt for that, was more focused on the noise. Since then Ive been to the junkyard and Ive checked all the other R50s with the same transfer case. They all had the same movement. That leads me to believe that there is supposed to be movement, even though that doesnt make sense. For you my suspicion is the driveshaft. Getting another one may be a wise option. Also check those u-joints if you havent.

@@realcalrodriguezthanks for replying I have the driveshaft of and the universal joints aren't too bad, movement wise, but I did remove one and it had one dry end. I ordered two new uni's anyway. My output shaft has the same movement as yours, so I suspect it's just normal to move around. My first Pathfinder never had this vibration and it has higher miles, just random I guess, hopefully the new joints fix it

@@Nperez1986 a lot of it was wheel alignment/balance, I'm going to get new tires as they have a lot of uneven wear, I'll see if that gets rid of the last little tiny bit. Some of it could be torque converter shudder, which they seem to suffer from too
