Clearly, the brakes were almost PERFECTLY balanced when he left the pits. Just the TINIEST of adjustments seems to have done the trick... Well, either that, or the car burns fuel at the same rate as an NHRA top fuel dragster. Back in the day, many of those cars had a megaphone exhaust tip, because that helped the crew hear the engine more clearly. Like when it was going through the kink at Road America and the crew was in the pits.
