In this video, I'll be discussing how radiographic equipment is tested and monitored for quality control. X-ray machines and image receptors will have functionality that degrades over time with wear and tear of normal usage, so we must be able to test equipment to ensure that all radiographic equipment is functioning properly, and to call service if that is not the case. This video is part of the lecture content for a course I am teaching, RADT 086 Radiation Protection and Fluoroscopy for the San Diego Mesa College Radiography Program.

My name is Jeremy Enfinger, and I've been teaching for JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology programs since 2005. I work full-time in management now for a large hospital system in San Diego, while I continue to teach on an adjunct basis because, well, I simply love radiography!
