One of the best live performances I’ve experienced. Went to this concert with my wife for our anniversary.

I went to see a show earlier this year at Rory Feek's barn venue, where Randy Travis's songwriters and admirers (Jamey Johnson was on the bill as one of these) would sing his songs. Jamey walked out into the round without saying more than a couple words, tuned up Rory's guitar, and started to play "Promises." From the first guitar notes something special was happening, and when he began to sing, I thought the light in the room changed and the temperature seemed to drop ten degrees. Probably the greatest musical performance I've ever seen, even better than this one.

3:21 The way Randy moves there, seems as if he's feeling it and mentally singing along. Perhaps he was even humming along.

Forgot that I watched this video before. Was going to make this same comment, but I apparently beat myself to it. Lol I'm almost positive Randy was though.. He often did those body motions during his vocal runs in his performances.

Chord....is that a D79??
@andrewpearson1903

The chord at the end of each verse is a B augmented, with the notes B, Eb and G. It's a good transition chord to return to E major.
